Rangla Punjab (colourful Punjab) is Punjabi Radio Program running for the community since April 1997, with over 250,000 listeners across Ontario. RANGLA PUNJAB is one of the most popular radio program which is relayed 6 days in a week. This program has a vast coverage of listeners, and the segments included in this radio program invite the listeners to participate in religious quiz, games and by expressing their views in talk shows.
During the show, we have three news bulletins in three different languages: Punjabi, Hindi and English. We have a special segment: NA KAHU SE DOSTI, NA KAHU SE BAIR (we are friends with no one and enemies with no one) which gives the unbiased news from all over the world narrated by the host.
Rangla Punjab is actively involved in social and political events happening in the community as well is leader for fundraising for the projects like hospitals, temples gurudwaras and eye camps.
Our show also relays a special segment on Saturday from 7 PM to 8 PM called Hum hosted by Anju Sikka which is purely a musical extravaganza.
Our listeners are from various communities and hence our businessmen get a lot of exposure of their products through RANGLA PUNJAB to these communities
